In recent years, timber has become a more popular choice for play equipment. For reasons of affordability and the environment, softwood rather than hardwood is used by all play equipment manufacturers. Each piece of timber is unique, bearing its own knots, cracks and variations in colour. This is part of its beauty. However, as a natural organic material, it will change over time, as it reacts to variations in atmospheric conditions. Softwood will expand and contract with fluctuations in temperature and humidity. In warm, sunny weather timber will shrink. In wet weather it will expand. As these physical changes do not take place uniformly throughout the wood, stresses are set up which result in cracks and splits opening up. These cracks can be both wide and deep. Whilst this can sometimes seem alarming, the tp timber frames are dimensioned and designed to ensure that this has no effect on their structural integrity. However as a result of this characteristic, you should be prepared to check your playset regularly so as to identify any splintering or lifting of the surface layers of the wood. Any affected areas can be rubbed down using coarse sandpaper to restore a smooth, safe surface.

	The timber Tower platform (97cm x 75cm) is accessed by galvanised steel rungs on both sides, and covered with a roof canopy. For safer play, the timber used in the Forest range has smooth rounded edges and nuts are recessed and capped. The legs of the frames are protected by plastic feet with perforated bases for easy drainage, the Tower canopy and all other plastic parts are natural green and UV stabilised. The Forest range timber is pressure treated but can be stained using a water based stain. Maximum recommended weight per ride 45kg and all frames are supplied with galvanised steel stakes. Please note no other tp Swing Accessories (Single Seaters or Duo Rides) can be used with the Forest Range with the exception of Green Highback Baby Seat. This seat is compatible and is an additional purchase.

	Kingswood Low Tower Climbing Frame Kingswood introduces a totally new concept to wooden play equipment – “growability”. All Kingswood sets begin with the Kingswood Low Tower climbing frame. From that starting structure, it is possible to add swing and climbing frame accessories that can later ‘grow’ should you choose to add a Top Deck. This means you can create a playground for your one year old that could still be a favourite retreat in ten years time. Made from pressure treated square and shaped pine with galvanised steel, the Kingswood Low Tower climbing frame will delight a 12 month old as they learn to clamber and take their first steps. From around three years old, they may seek more challenges and with Kingswood you can provide them. The Kingswood has two “Grow” options: the addition of a Top Deck or the enhancing of the Low Tower climbing frame with a Loft Conversion which provides a new first floor within the original climbing frame tower. (Both the Loft Conversion & the Top Deck are additional purchases). Fully modular, the Kingswood Tower (in low or grown format) is either standalone or may be joined by both swing and climbing frame attachments for even more fun! 	Kingswood Low Tower Climbing Frame With Top Deck With the addition of a Top Deck, the Kingswood Low Tower climbig frame grows to its full height. Simply remove the roof of the Low Tower, add a Top Deck and replace the roof again. The Kingswood Tower now provides lots of new challenges for older children. There are more accessories to choose from too! Age Range - Suitable from 3 years old. Top Deck - consists of a wooden platform which could be enclosed on all 4 sides (the requisite wood is supplied) with an internal access ladder. Rapide Slide - is suitable for use off the ‘first’ floor of the wooden tower only; the CrazyWavy Slide can be used at low or high height. Climbing Wall - A Kingswood Climbing Wall is another optional climbing accessory. This can be attached at an angle to any rung of the Tower or vertically to the Kingswood Accessory Arm. Climbing Hoops - For additional climbing challenge the Horizontal Hoops make a great addition to the Kingswood Tower climbing frame in this full height format. 	Kingswood Swing Arms Kingswood Swing Arms are available as either Double or Single and are supplied with all you need to build at low or full height depending on whether your Kingswood Tower has a Top Deck. All fixings are supplied with the Swing Arms to accommodate up to two (Double Swing Arm) or one (Single Swing Arm) Duo Rides respectively. Please note that the only Duo Ride suitable for use with Low Tower or Low Tower with Loft Conversion is the tp Pirate Boat. Most Single Seaters in the tp range are suitable choices, including the High Back Baby Seat so even the youngest family member can join in too.

	Sherwood Tower Climbing Frame The award winning Sherwood range of wooden play equipment is made from pressure treated pine and galvanised steel. The Sherwood top bar is supplied complete with all the fittings you need to fit Single seater swing seats. All tp Duo Rides will fit the range and are suspended from Duo Ride Brackets which are purchased separately.
